professional companies must be IICRC Certified Firms by this date in
order to be compliant.
Now we have Word that not only are some provisions moved effective

Leather & Upholstery Cleaning |
Leather cleaning is a must for
the cleaning and restoration contractor now more than ever before.
Walk in to any furniture store and see the vast offering and amount
of showroom space dedicated to leather upholstery.
Over 35% of the upholstery sold in the North America for home or
office is leather and that percentage is much higher in many
markets. These figures do not include car interiors, RV’s, airplanes
or other opportunities like these. If you are not cleaning leather,
you have just given up nearly half of your upholstery cleaning
business and risk losing your customers to other service providers
altogether. Most home or business owners do not wish to make
multiple calls for their service needs. The chances are very good
the other companies they call to clean their leather also clean
carpet, rugs or tile and grout.
Upholstery cleaning has taken on many changes over the last
decade or so. The introduction of some new cleaning tools, combined
with the furniture industry’s push to produce and sell more “family
friendly” fabrics has led the cleaning contractor to believe he can
clean virtually any fabric
with his standard carpet cleaning chemicals and his upholstery tool.
However, this is not the case.
It is still extremely important to follow proper cleaning
fundamentals when cleaning upholstered fabrics.
There are many companies around the country that clean only
furniture and avoid carpet cleaning altogether. They do this because
of the lack of competition and the profitability of furniture
cleaning with a lot less equipment cost. For example, you don’t need
an expensive truck mount to clean upholstery.
Most upholstered fabrics are a blend of more than one fiber,
typically containing a natural fiber such as cotton. Every occupied
structure you enter has upholstery cleaning opportunities. The
right tools, such as the Hydro-Force Hydro-Kinetic tool combined
with the right chemistry, such as The Bridgepoint Avenge Upholstery
Cleaning System has made cleaning these pieces |

Fabric Protection |
Putting more money in your pocket on

Kits, you can professionally demonstrate the real value of carpet
protection right before your customer’s eyes. Seeing is believing!!

Mattress Cleaning |
Isn’t it interesting that while the
average person spends 1/3 of their time in bed they might never
think about cleaning their mattress. Your customer’s mattress might
be one of the most soiled and bacteria laden surfaces in their home.
Think about it!! When was the last time you had your mattress
professionally cleaned?
Most people don’t clean their mattresses simply because they’re
always covered. But, cleaning a mattress is more than an appearance
issue, It’s also a health issue. Your customer cleans their
comforters, sheets, and mattress pads but neglect the primary
repository of allergens, odors,
bacteria, and soil - the mattress itself.
Soiled Mattresses contain:
1. Dust, dead skin, and dust mites which can cause a host of health
problems for the owner, agitating both asthma and many allergies.
2. Urine, blood, and food on a mattress can result in odors and the
growth of disease causing bacteria.
3. Soils which can break down the surface fibers can cause premature
wear.
Promoting Mattress cleaning as an Add-on service is easy. Simply ask
the customer when they last had their Mattress professionally
cleaned. Do a quick demo with a dark velvet cloth and a vacuum to
demonstrate the buildup of dust, skin and soil. Explain the health
and wear benefits of professional cleaning and ask for the order. |

Fast Track One Day to Real Money
Developing a blueprint for growth,
freedom, and profits in your cleaning business. A new one-day class
for owners & managers only.
Why is this class for Owners and Managers only?
There are a few important reasons that we don't think it is a good
idea for your technicians to come to this class:
• They can be in the field earning you money with the techniques
that they learned in the IICRC class
• Much of the material is about business management. You will be
learning techniques that will make your business more profitable and
easier to manage. This is material that is directed at owners and
managers for you to train your technicians exactly how you want your
company to do it.
• You will also learn the most profitable things that you and your
techs can do. These are techniques and products on which you can
easily train your employees.
• When you understand that the FASTTRACK ONE DAY TO REAL MONEY class
requires a certain typer of employee to implement, you may realize
that your current technicians need to change or they need to be
replaced. This is not exactly the message that you want your
technicians to hear in a classroom setting.
So what is this class about?
Rob Hanks, President of Bridgepoint Systems is famous for saying,
"Carpet cleaning makes a crappy hobby". This class is about working
smart, doing the most profitable things and making your business
into something special.
IF ANY OF THESE STATEMENTS BELOW APPLY TO YOU, YOU NEED THE
FASTTRACK ONE DAY TO REAL MONEY CLASS.
• I have created a hard, low paying job for myself. If you feel that
you are living the life that may not be even as good as your
employees, you need to attend this class.
• I can't keep the employees that I have, let alone find good ones
to replace them. If your company is not structured to give your
associates a good lifestyle, you need to let Doug teach you how to
change.
• My equipment is wearing down at the same rate as my resolve. This
is a symptom of poor business structure and low profits. Let Doug
teach you and inspire you. |
