How to Strip & Refinish Floors Coated with Floor Finish.

Many techniques will be discussed. From the easiest job to the most severe floors; coated with many layers of finish wax that has been there for years. Bob will be going over a variety of floors from very old floors, new floors, and specialty floors. We will be covering equipment, materials and supplies from small jobs all the way up to the very large 50,000 plus square foot jobs.

• How to make money and stay out of trouble when stripping and refinishing.
• How to identify floor types: A brief discussion on all the resilient floor types as well as other floors normally coated with floors finish such as terrazzo, concrete, slate, and other natural stone.
• What equipment, materials and supplies are needed to strip floors?
• How to pre-qualify the job?
• How to prepare brand new VCT for use?
• How to test clean for system effectiveness and results?
• How to sell floor stripping jobs?

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, a 14-day notice is required. Students that cancel 14-days prior to class have the option for someone to come in their place, transfer to another class (in the same calendar year) of equal or lesser value or receive a 50% credit.

The definition of a “no-call, no-show” is someone who does not communicate their absence within 2 hours of class. There are no transfers or refunds for no-call, no-shows.

If a student registered for class can no longer attend class and you want to send someone in their place, a 3-day notice is required. If the new student can no longer attend, this is considered a no-call, no-show.
