DESCRIPTION:June 4 & 5\, 2026\nInstructor: Randy Pierce\n8:00 AM – 4:30 PM\nPre-Registration $385 if paid by 05/19/2026\nRegistration – $425\nTest fee $80 Paid at the time of testing to the IICRC. \nReceive 14 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) \nIICRC Health & Safety Technician (HST)\nThe Health and Safety Technician class covers occupational health and safety. This certification demonstrates competency in cleaning\, maintenance\, and restoration industries concerning the Global Harmonized System (GHS). Students will be introduced to engineering and administrative controls\, work practices\, and personal protective equipment used in each industry. \nLearn the importance of hazard and risk assessments and implementing controls on the identified hazards. Hazard controls are emphasized so that eliminating\, reducing\, and controlling hazards will become the focus of health and safety. Students that cancel 14-days prior to class have the option for someone to come in their place\, transfer to another class (in the same calendar year) of equal or lesser value or receive a 50% credit. \nThe definition of a “no-call\, no-show” is someone who does not communicate their absence within 2 hours of class. There are no transfers or refunds for no-call\, no-shows. \nIf a student registered for class can no longer attend class and you want to send someone in their place\, a 3-day notice is required.
