DESCRIPTION:IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) Seminar\n8am-4:30pm Daily\nOctober 21-24\, 2025\nInstructor: Ken Sellers\n8:00 AM – 4:30 PM\nRegistration – $1\,100\nReceive 14 IICRC Continuing Education Credit (14 hours of CEC’s)\nTest fee $150 paid at the time of testing to the IICRC. \nYou MUST be certified in Water Restoration (WRT) to take this course.  \nThe Applied Microbial Remediation Technician course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management\, property restoration\, IEQ investigations or other related professions. Emphasis will be placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services\, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants. \nEnvironmental Microbiology\nMoisture and its Effect on Structure and Contamination\nDocuments and Regulations\nMarketing Microbial Remediation Services\nHealth & Safety\nContract Legal Issues\nAntimicrobial\, Biocides and Biostats\nMicrobial Remediation Sampling\, Protocol and Quality Control\nContainment\, Air Pressure and Air Changes\nStructure Mold Remediation – Work Practices\nStructure Sewage Remediation\nContents\nHVAC Systems \n(4 day course; 28 hours\, not including exam time\, lunch and breaks.) \nCancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation\, a 21-day notice is required. Students that cancel 21-days prior to class have the option for someone to come in their place\, transfer to another class (in the same calendar year) of equal or lesser value\, or receive a 50% credit. \nThe definition of a “no-call\, no-show” is someone who does not communicate their absence within 2 hours of class.
