Important IICRC Registration Information
The IICRC now requires all students to complete their registration online before class. This applies whether you are:
- Taking the certification exam, or
- Attending the class for Continuing Education Credits (CECs).
Payment Information
- If you are paying for your exam by credit card, your payment must be completed online during registration.
- If you prefer to pay by cash or check, you may still pay in class, but you must complete the online registration before arriving.
Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician course teaches techniques and best practices related to carpet repair and re-installation. You will walk away with hands-on experience. You will learn; carpet construction, inspection process prior to cleaning, tools of the trade, floor preparation, adhesives, carpet cushion installation, tackles strip and moldings, seaming, and proper stretching. This class also teaches various carpet repairs that the carpet cleaner and or restorer may come up against while dealing with an installed textile. This knowledge will enable the technician to recognize and avoid installation problems that may arise while performing carpet cleaning and restoration.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, a 14-day notice is required. Students that cancel 14-days prior to class have the option for someone to come in their place, transfer to another class (in the same calendar year) of equal or lesser value or receive a 50% credit.
The definition of a “no-call, no-show” is someone who does not communicate their absence within 2 hours of class. There are no transfers or refunds for no-call, no-shows.
If a student registered for class can no longer attend class and you want to send someone in their place, a 3-day notice is required. If the new student can no longer attend, this is considered a no-call, no-show.
