Important IICRC Registration Information

The IICRC now requires all students to complete their registration online before class. This applies whether you are:

• Taking the certification exam, or
• Attending the class for Continuing Education Credits (CECs).

Payment Information

• If you are paying for your exam by credit card, your payment must be completed online during registration.
• If you prefer to pay by cash or check, you may still pay in class, but you must complete the online registration before arriving.

The Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) course concentrates on technical procedures for successfully completing the restoration of fire and smoke-damaged environments. Students will learn how to combine technical procedures with a practical approach to managing the job site and how that relates to pricing the job.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, a 14-day notice is required. Students that cancel 14-days prior to class have the option for someone to come in their place, transfer to another class (in the same calendar year) of equal or lesser value or receive a 50% credit.

The definition of a “no-call, no-show” is someone who does not communicate their absence within 2 hours of class. There are no transfers or refunds for no-call, no-shows.

If a student registered for class can no longer attend class and you want to send someone in their place, a 3-day notice is required.
