IICRC Color Repair Technician (CRT) Class

Prerequisites – You must obtain the following certification before taking this class:
- Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) or
- Commercial Carpet Maintenance Technician (CCMT)
Important IICRC Registration Information
The IICRC now requires all students to complete their registration online before class. This applies whether you are:
- Taking the certification exam, or
- Attending the class for Continuing Education Credits (CECs).
Payment Information
- If you are paying for your exam by credit card, your payment must be completed online during registration.
- If you prefer to pay by cash or check, you may still pay in class, but you must complete the online registration before arriving.
Color Repair Technician (CRT) course covers:
- Fiber types and carpet styles
- Color theory and the history of color
- Dye methods
- Natural vs. synthetic dyes
- Dye procedures
- Color repair applications
- Hands-on dyeing exercises
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, a 14-day notice is required. Students that cancel 14-days prior to class have the option for someone to come in their place, transfer to another class (in the same calendar year) of equal or lesser value or receive a 50% credit.
The definition of a “no-call, no-show” is someone who does not communicate their absence within 2 hours of class. There are no transfers or refunds for no-call, no-shows.
If a student registered for class can no longer attend class and you want to send someone in their place, a 3-day notice is required. If the new student can no longer attend, this is considered a no-call, no-show.
