Chlorine Dioxide (CLO₂) is an effective and versatile selective oxidizer with low toxicity. CLO₂ can be used as ‘gas vapor’ or ‘liquid’ on porous and non-porous surfaces. No other chemical substance has this capability!!

CLO₂ is non-staining, non-masking, non-corrosive, and has no fragrance, no VOCs, no residue, and no wiping or rinsing. 

Do not confuse CLO₂ with typical household chlorine bleach, chlorine dioxide is actually an oxidizing agent, not a chlorinating agent.

What is CLO₂?

Chlorine Dioxide is a chemical compound made up of one atom of chlorine and two atoms of oxygen.

CLO₂ has a 50-year history of effective use in a variety of surface treatments including odor, mold and smoke removal, drinking water, wastewater, bio-medical waste, medical & pharmaceutical equipment, food processing equipment, agriculture & horticulture environments. 

CLO₂ Usages

Low Concentration (10 ppm) – Agriculture & Horticulture, Process Water, Biological Oxygen Demand / Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).

Medium Concentration (100 ppm):

  • Organic & Chemical Odor Elimination: Mold, Mildew, Smoke, Garbage, Vomit, & Urine.
  • Auto, Truck, RV, Marine, & Boat: Cabin Interiors, Upholstery, Galley’s Heads, Bait Wells.
  • Animals: Confinement Areas, Litter Boxes, Kennels, & Cages.

How to Use CLO₂

All CLO₂ Reset Tablets & Paks can be activated and safely used as ‘gas vapor’ to deeply penetrate and clean a confined space and its porous and non-porous surfaces. Activate as a ‘liquid’ to apply with sponge, mop, wet vacuum, sprayer or fogger onto any surface to eliminate malodors. 

Step 1: Preparation

  • Always clean any visible dirt and organic matter before treating.

Step 2: Choose your Application

Liquid Activation & Application 

  • Fill container with tap water. Drop the appropriate Reset Tablet into the water to generate your desired concentration. Dilute or strengthen solution per product instructions. Put cap on container and wait 3 minutes for the product to mix and generate properly. 
  • Apply directly to atmosphere, surfaces, clothing, uniforms, furniture, upholstery, and any other materials requiring treatment. 
  • Use on targeted porous and non-porous surfaces with a mop, sponge, pump sprayer, or ULV (water based) fogger. 
  • DO NOT WIPE DRY. 
  • DO NOT RINSE. 
  • Always wear PPE, do not inhale the chlorine dioxide chemical. 

 Vapor Activation & Application

  • Vapor Concentrate will stain if spilled. 
  • Choose appropriate size Reset CLO₂ Tablet or Pak. 
  • Confine area for treatment. 
  • Add appropriate amount of water to empty container. 
  • Add Aerator to the side of the container (pictured on right), insert tube and stone into the CLO₂ solution and turn on.
  • Add Reset Tablet or Pak to container and immediately evacuate the area. 

Note: Aerators are highly effective at rapidly pushing the CLO₂ out of the concentrate, improving outcoming and reducing treatment times. 

Step 3: Vapor Application ONLY

  • Always air out the confined space before re-entering and re-occupying. If you smell a chlorine smell, continue to air out space. 

Step 4: Dispose of Remaining Product

  • Safely dispose the remaining CLO₂ down the toilet or drain. 

CLO2 Paks & Sizes

Red Pak – 100g with Five, 20g Tablets

Each 20g Tablet: 

  • Vapor Deodorize (M) up to 100 sq. ft. or one Automobile/SUV to neutralize any environment and its contents from a variety of malodors. 
  • Vapor Mold & Smoke (H) Level  up to 20 sq. ft. with 10ft ceilings to remove difficult mold and extreme environment type issues.
    • Or make 1 liquid gallon of 500ppm (H) level
    • or make 5 liquid gallons of 100ppm (M) level
    • Or make 55 liquid gallons of 10ppm (L) level
    • Or clean up to 1,000 gallons of Process Water
    • Or clean one 40-60 gallon Tank & Line System

Black Pak – 1000g with ‘A’ & ‘B’ Compounds

  • Vapor Deodorize (M) up to 5,000 sq. ft. to neutralize any environment and its contents from a variety of malodors. 
  • Vapor Mold & Smoke (H) Level up to 500 sq. ft. with 10ft ceilings to remove difficult mold and extreme environment type issues.
    • Or make up to 55 liquid gallons of 500ppm (H) level
    • Or make up to 60,000 gallons of Process Water
    • Or clean one 2,500 gallon Tank & Line System
