 IICRC Odor Control (OCT)

The Odor Control Technicians course covers olfaction and odor, odor sources, detection process, theory of odor control, equipment, chemical options, and applications. The student will learn how to address odors caused by biological sources such as decomposition, urine contamination and mold combustion sources such as fire and smoke damage, and chemical sources such as fuel oils spill and volatile organic chemicals.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, a 14-day notice is required. Students that cancel 14-days prior to class have the option for someone to come in their place, transfer to another class (in the same calendar year) of equal or lesser value or receive a 50% credit.

The definition of a “no-call, no-show” is someone who does not communicate their absence within 2 hours of class. There are no transfers or refunds for no-call, no-shows.

If a student registered for class can no longer attend class and you want to send someone in their place, a 3-day notice is required. If the new student can no longer attend, this is considered a no-call, no-show.
