IICRC Floor Care Technician (FCT) Course
8am-4:30pm Daily

The Floor Care Technician course is a two-day class designed to give you the knowledge and skills needed to perform hard floor care. The class includes a definition of floor covering types, to include:

  • Resilient (LVT, VCT, Sheet vinyl, rubber, linoleum, VAT & others).
  • Natural stone floors (marble, limestone, granite, slate & others).
  • Ceramic, porcelain, quarry tile, saltillo, terra-cotta, terrazzo, concrete, and more.
  • Also included is a handful of specialty floors such as: ESD, glass, metal and others.

Attendees will also learn about the equipment, supplies, methods, techniques, and cleaning procedures related to each of these floor coverings. It is taught in an energetic, humorous, and easy to comprehend style that the students enjoy.

Learn about:

  • The floor care industry.
  • The importance of cleaning for health, safety, and appearance.
  • The knowledge, skills and attitude needed to be successful.
  • The science of cleaning – the detergency process.
  • The equipment.
  • Materials and supplies used to perform hard surface floor care.
  • How to perform the procedures safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Pre-Registration – $349 – if paid by 05/22/24
Registration – $379 (after 05/22/24)
Receive 14 IICRC Continuing Education Credit (1 per each hour).
The exam fee is $80.00 and is a separate charge made to the IICRC.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of a cancellation, a 14-day notice is required. Students that cancel 14-days prior to class have the option for someone to come in their place, transfer to another class (in the same calendar year) of equal or lesser value or receive a 50% credit.

The definition of a “no-call, no-show” is someone who does not communicate their absence within 2 hours of class. There are no transfers or refunds for no-call, no-shows.

If a student registered for class can no longer attend class and you want to send someone in their place, a 3-day notice is required. If the new student can no longer attend, this is considered a no-call, no-show.
